First Team managers Jamie Walker and Dave Cartwright are pleased to announce the signing of Abbey Gibson.

“Gibbo” has just completed her transfer from Bedworth United LFC but was ineligible for yesterday’s cup quarter final because she is cup tied.

Abbey will train with the squad for the first time on Wednesday evening. A talented midfielder with a fine ability to read the game, she will boost the already rich first team squad and is another piece in the jigsaw of what Walker and Cartwright see as the squad that can help them push for promotion.

Recent tough matches against Leafield and Dudley have shown that City are well on the way to developing a potential championship winning team but have also highlighted certain areas where they can develop and strengthen.

The club would like to welcome Abbey and wish her all the best in a sky blue shirt.
